H On tho first day of Juno and H January of each year, tho regis- B tered pharmacist shall filu all H said prescriptions filled within H tho proceeding six months, with H tho City Recorder of said Cedar B City, and n certified copy of tho samo or tho original prescription H shall bo prima facia ovidonco in B tho City Justice's Court. Such H prescriptions shall at any timo H! after having been filed bo open B to public inspection. A feo of H one dollar for each lot of pre- H scriptions so filled shall be paid H by such druggist or registered B pharmacist to tho City Recorder. H No prescription shall bo re- B filled, nor shall more than one H quart bo furnished on ono pro- M scription. Nothing in this act shall bo construed to prevent H druggists or registered pharma- H cists furnishing or selling intox- B icating liquors in wholesalo quan- H tities to registered pharmacists, B to public or charity hospitals, to M medical or pharmaceutical col- fl leges or to scientific schools or m institutions. All druggists or H registered pharmacists shall keep m a complote record of all sales at B wholesale of intoxicating liquor M, which record shall' bo open to the m inspection of the peuco oflker of m this City. No physician shall m issue a prescription oxcept for a B bona ilde medical purpose Section 3. PATENT MEDI- Hk C1NES. No person or corpora- H tion within this City, shall sell, F dispose of or givo away any pro- v prietary, patent or compound medicine classed by the U. S. Commissioners of Internal Revenue Rev-enue as subject to the U. S. Internal In-ternal Special Tax as an intoxicating intoxi-cating liquor insufficiently medicated medi-cated to render them unsalable as beverages, except upon the prescription of a licensed and practicing physician of this State. Section 4. Sale of Alcohol and Wines for Special Purposes Permitted. Per-mitted. Nothing in this act shall prohibit the sale by licensed li-censed pharmacists or wholesale druggists within this City, of alcohol, for art, scientific or mechanical me-chanical purposes, or wines to churches for sacramental purposes. pur-poses. A record of each sale shall bo mado and preserved in a book kept for that purpose, signed by the person receiving the same; which record shall be open to public inspection. No 1 person shall purchase any such (alcohol or wines for any uso other thun stated in this section. Section 5. All places where intoxicating liquors are manufactured, manu-factured, sold, given away, or otherwise furnished in violation of law or where persons are permitted per-mitted to resort for the purpose of drinking intoxicating liquor as a beverage in violation of law or where intoxicating liquors are kept for sale, giving away or othorwiso furnishing, in violation viola-tion of law, and all intoxicating liquors, bottles, glasses, kegs, pumps, bars and other property kept in and used in maintaining such a place, or hereby declared to be common nuisances; and overy person who maintains or assists in maintaining such a placo shall bo guilty of a misdemeanor. misde-meanor. Section G. Penalty. Any person per-son or corporation who in any way violates any of tha proviu-ions proviu-ions of this act shall bo guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction convic-tion thorcof shall bo punished by a fine of not less than fifty dollars dol-lars nor moro than two hundred and ninety-nino dollars, or by imprisonment in tho City jail for not less than thirty days, nor moro than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. imprison-ment. Section 7. That Sections 236, 237, 238, 239, 240, 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 24G. 247, 248, 249, 250 251, 252, 253, 254, of tho revised Ordinances of Cedar City are hereby ropealed. Section 8.
