From its beginning in 1925 when it was called Farm Bureau Days to the present three-da- y Davis County Fair it has become bigger and better. During the 1980 exhibition over $11,000 in pre- miums and prizes were awarded to Davis County residents. As the fair has expanded, so have its needs. Facilities that once were adequate have become inadequate. The site of the celebration has had to be moved - the latest move -- from Davis High School to its present location where again it is bulging at the seams. Dick Taylor, fair manager, said more people are Friday and Saturday at the Fairgrounds at Lagoon. We have something may go down in one area, but at the same time they go up in another.
