There are no suspects and this case is closed due to lack of sus-pect information. A report that two suspects had sold Exstacy to a report-ing person's son. Two adult males have been arrested for two counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance. There are other charges in this case but it is currently still be-ing investigated. The police department received a report of several stolen items from a local mechanic shop. There are no serial numbers for the items. The officer put out a scrap metal alert for the items taken. On Saturday, October 9, an unknown suspect entered the victim's garage and stole a blue Callaway golf bag containing Wilson golf clubs. This case is active to investigations. Officers discovered an ac-cident on Geneva Road under the overpass. The offi-cers found the at fault driver showed signs of impairment. The suspect driver submitted to field sobriety tests which showed impairment. The sus-pect driver was arrested for DUI and transported to the Lindon Police Department where a DRE Evaluation was performed. The officers con-cluded the suspect driver was under the direct influence of a CNS depressant. The suspect driver submitted to a blood and urine chemical test. A prelimi-nary urine screen showed posi-tive for Benzodiazepines. On Monday, October 11, an officer responded on a report of a Burglary of a business. The officer found that a bur-glary had occurred. The officer gathered this information and referred it to investigations. No further action was taken. (oucT) Pleasant Grove $50 gift card. The officer found a friend of the victim took the gift card and used the money on the card with-out permission. The suspect is known and lives in the area. On Saturday, October 9, during the Prescription Take Back Event at Walgreens, a to-tal of 62 pounds of drugs were disposed of. Nothing further. On Sunday, October 10, an officer responded to the Amer-ican Fork Hospital Emergency Room on a report of a female who came in and stated that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. An officer took a report of an attempted burglary in which a door, valued at $100, was damaged. The reporting party has a possible suspect. This case is being referred to investigations. On Tuesday, October 12, a traffic stop resulted in a Controlled Substance prob-lem involving marijuana. On Wednesday, October 13, officers responded to a call on driver who was drink-ing in a parking lot and then drove away. Officers stopped the vehicle and found the driver and his passengers to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested for DUI and the passengers were cited and re-leased. A report of a theft involv-ing $600 of copper wire being stolen and a damaged fence gate valued at $400 were reported by Rocky Mountain Power. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time. No further informa-tion. An officer responded to a theft detail at Macey's Food and Drug on three juveniles that were in custody for retail theft. The juveniles were caught on video surveillance putting items in their backpacks. The juve-niles were cited and released to their parents at Macey's. The juveniles will be sent to Youth Court. An officer was dispatched to apartments at East 900 South for the theft of $40 from a resi-dence. Information was gath-ered and this report was filed. On Friday, October 8, an officer was dispatched to an as-sault that occurred in Pleasant Grove. The assault was report-ed in American Fork and was delayed one hour. The officer found that the suspect and the victim were juveniles and there were several witnesses. Further investigation will be necessary to locate the suspect. An officer responded to a local residence on reports of a delayed burglary. Upon arrival the home was found in complete disarray. One door to a bed-room had been broken down. It appeared that the suspect was looking for something in the residence. The homeowner stat-ed the only things missing were several kitchen knives. Nothing else appeared to be gone. At this time, no suspect informa-tion is available. No further ac-tion taken. An officer responded on a report of a Vehicle Burglary. This was called in from a busi-ness owner working on the ve-hicle. A CD player was reported stolen. The officer has been at-tempting to make contact with the owner to get further infor-mation. A individual called the po-lice department to report the Theft of a CDDVD case from a motor vehicle. PG Recreation Awards the Winners of its Punt, Pass, Kick Competition Pleasant Grove City Recreation recently held its annual Punt, Pass, Kick Competition for all the kids in the department's Flag Football Program. Each child competed individually in their age groups for a chance to win a trophy in each of the categories Punt, Pass and Kick. This year the recre-ation department had the" largest number of kids ever enrolled in the Flag Football program, 100 more than last year.
