Show A Spooktacular Event Coming to Valley View With Halloween on its way, Valley View Elementary students will get in on the fun a little early at their upcoming school carnival. Their Halloween Carnival fund raiser will be held on Monday, October 25, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the school. Students, their families, and the community are invited to attend. PTA President Cydney LeMone is excited for this fund raiser that will raise money to support PTA programs. "The PTA contributes to great school programs such as Reflections, Choir, Student Planners, and many more. Without our annual fund raiser, we would not be able to continue them," she stated. The Halloween Carnival was a tradition started many years ago, and was brought back last year with much success. "Halloween is such a fun time of year for lids. I hope the carnival is an event our students will remember for years to come. We have parents who attended Valley View and have great memories of past Hallcween Carnivals," Cydney said. The carnival will feature Halloween activities such as Pumpkin Bowling, a Mad Scientist Lab, the Pit of Terror and a Haunted Hayride, as well as traditional carnival games including Spin the Wheel, a Football Toss, Fish Pond and Cake Walk. A Silent Auction will also be held with gift baskets and gift certificates donated by families and businesses within the community. "Our goal is not only to raise money for our programs, but to see families out that night, having fun together and supporting their school. It will be a great event and we invite everyone to join us." Cydney said. |
