Show . - -I ' ' !' t McCORNICK NEWS. Arrived from the Uinta Basin last night, Four big husky men who have bought land here and are here to stay. They have choice land and should be Independent in a short time. They bring with them a cholco bunch of Dairy Cows. It is reported that on the Bruce Stevenson place there was put up this year Seven Tons of the choicest Alfalfa Hay per acre. This Is a record and many stacks ot hay are seen over the district. The threshing Is completed for this season with a good yield reported, report-ed, now for the Potato and Sugar-Beet Sugar-Beet yields which promise to be unusually large, this yoar. We are sorry to report the illness of a few of our people at present but It is not of a serious nature. Yes we have a Sorgum Mill here too, and some very good juice la being be-ing turned out. Mr, J. A. Allen has charge of the mill and we are going to have some sweets to go along with the rest of our good things, Mrs. James Faust entertained for the following Thursday afternoon Mrs. E. A. Bloomquist, Mrs. Earl Wilkinson, Mrs. Orsen Rasmussen, Mrs. J. C. Wiliams, Mrs. W. Varley, Mrs. A. O. Tangren, and Miss Chloen Rcss. Mrs. A. O. Tangren was hostess at an afternoon party on Saturday. Those present were Mrs. Earl Wllk-ensen, Wllk-ensen, Miss Chloen Ross, Mrs. E. A. Bloomquist, Mrs. Orsen Rasmusen, Mrs. W. Varley, Mrs. J. C. Williams and Mrs. James Faust. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Davenport, a baby. Miss Clara' Jensen is home trom California on a visit with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Jensen.
