Show Now comes the Tribune and rushes with wild gusto to the defense of the Herald and refers to the Herald's attitude in the late campaign as "heroic." Isn't it possible that that is a misprint? mis-print? It sounds too unctiously funny, after the way the Tribune vilified and sputtered vituperation vitupera-tion at the Herald a year ago. Praise of the Herald is appropriate, for it is a first 'class dally publication. But from the Tribune. Go to. B sounds too much like a fervent benediction on the brazen lips of the chief of the fiery hosts. This fawning of the old sycophant makes us wonder whore his knife of treachery is concealed. |
