Mrs. Ollvo Hodge, mother of David Hodgo, Superintendent of tho Spanish Fork sugar fatcory, quietly passed nwny Thursday morning. Well attended funornl services woro conducted Sunday afternoon in tbo Second Ward mooting houso. Ulshop S I. Mrs. Margaret Kirkham render-cd render-cd a solo, "One Fleeting Hour," Mr. Thadlus Evans, of Salt Lake, "I am A Pilgrim," and Mrs, O. L. Klttlngor, "Who Knows." Invocation was offered by E. A. Hushman and bonedtctlon by Bishop Andrew FJold. Tho speakers woro M. B. Bushman, Bishop H. J. Whipple, Prof. A. B. Anderson and Pres, A. J. Evans. The dedication of tho grave at the Lohl cemetery was pronounced by Counselor Coun-selor CL 9 Potorson. Mrs. Olive Hodgo was born In England Juno 29, 1840. Sho emigrated to Utah In 1SC0. Sho Is' survived by but one child, David Hodgo of this city, her husband hav-Jng hav-Jng precoded her to tho Grent Beyond. Be-yond. Sho was well known In this section. |
