Show ORANGEVILLE The health of the people is somewhat better. The epidemic of colds has abated. Miss Orpha Guymon and Mr. Sam Miles have accompanied Mr. Art Guymon Guy-mon and family to their home in Colorado. Colo-rado. Mrs. J. D. Jewkes has returned to her home in Salt Lake City. A gang of men has left Orangeville to start work on the Straight canyon road. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fail have gone to Preston, Idaho, to visit their children, and to spend the 70th anniversary of Mr. Fail's birthday witn them rather than have them come to him. It makes a very pleasant change and an outing that they will enjoy very much- They anticipate visiting relatives and friends in Salt Lake and Sanpete while away. Their many friends wish them a pleasant pleas-ant trip. Mrs. Emeline Cox entertained the Young Ladies association at the home of O. W. Sitterud, one evening last week. The blacksmith; Mr. Burt Childs, is making an extraordinary offer to the first farmer from th neighboring towns who will bring a plow to be pointed at his shop. He makes a specialty of pointing plows and will take the plow and point it free, the only requirement he makes is to have it thoroughly examined ex-amined by farmers of the neighborhood before it is given to him and then again after it is returned. The older the plow the better. The Y. L. M. I. asoocition surprised their secretary Miss Orpha Guymon, Sunday &fternio.i and pres nted her with a beautiful picture in token of their appreication of her work before she left for Colorado. J The marriage of Mr. Edward Mof- fitt and Miss Margaret Bench both of ' the Reservation was solem lized at the I home of his sister, Mrs. S. P. Snow Wednesday evening. They have many 1 relatives and friends here' who wish ; them joy and happiness. Mr. Orson Miles is putting up wire ; fence around his new home north west of town. Mr. Ernest Childs is making considerable consider-able improvements around his home I this spring. |
