Show fray DESERET iaaniMnt.T NEWS, Wednesday, July R5 16, 1969 Art Exhibit At Capitol In August Entries are being Invited for the second annual Utah State Institute of Fine Arts exhihit The exhibit, which is open to all artists now residing in the state, will be held at the State Capital, Aug. 9 through Sept 19. Works in any media are acceptable, and each artist may enter two of his works. In addition to purchase prize and cash awards, five works wilt be selected to represent Utah in the Rocky Mountain Federation Exhibit. The Federation Exhibit will Goveropen at the eight-stat- e nors Conference late in September at Cheyenne, and will travel throughout the Rocky Mountain area. Also, up to 4Q works may be chosen for Utahs annual traveling statewide exhibit sponsored by the Associated Utah Artists and the Utah State Institute of Fine Arts. All styles and approaches to painting are being encouraged for the exhibit, and three distinguished jurors have been chosen to select the winners.
