Show eee6MWf,wi Nevada Highway Budget Proposed CARSON NEV. CITY, Nevadas Highway Board of Directors today approved a $46.3 million construction and maintenance budget for the upcoming fiscal year. The proposed program for fiscal 1970 tops the 1969 budget by nearly $8 million, according to Governor Paul Laxalt, board ' chairman. Setting a new high will be the tentative maintenance budget with approximately $10 million slated for the upkeep of the states 4853 miles of highway. Included in this total will be some $843,000 for state maintenance contracts. On the same budget are scheduled some $5.5 million for primary jobs and $3 million for secondary system projects.
