Show Summit Activity Lewis and Rhenstrom, leasers of the Summit, adjacent to the Old Cave mine, in the Bradshaw district, near Minersville, have just shipped a carload car-load of lead ore from their dump, the returns from which netted $25 a ton. They still have about five hundred tons on the dump, but will defer further fur-ther working over the dump until later, as they are busily engaged on their main shaft, which'is now in over 300 feet. From the main shaft the drifts are being sent out both north and south, and the main shaft is also being raised. In the north-south drifts they are following a three-foot vein, showing $110 values. Out of the main shaft, ore values of 10 lead, 10 ounces silver and $10.20 gold are developing. |
