Show REPUBLICANS WIN IN BEAVER COUNTY WITH EXCEPTION OF FOUR OFFICES T T u e s day's election in Beaver county, while not a land-slide, was nevertheless a Republican victory. Of the thirteen county offices to be filled at this time, the Republicans elected all their candidates except four. In the race for state senator, George Jefferson, Republican defeated his opponent, J. F. Tolton. Jefferson's majority in Beaver county was 110, while in the district composed of Beaver, Iron and Washington counties his majority is estimated at about 600. Following is a list of the Republicans Republi-cans elected in the county: F. D. Williams, Wil-liams, for commissioner; Wm. A. Milkier, Mil-kier, for county clerk; Taylor Farns-worth, Farns-worth, for county treasurer; Neils Jensen, for sheriff; Vella Browner, for county recorder; Jesse Baker, for assessor. as-sessor. Democrats elected were W. C. Cat-es, Cat-es, for state representative; James Patterson, for commissioner; Abe Murdock, for county attorney, and William Hurst, for surveyor. The unofficial returns from each precinct in Beaver county is printed on this page. While there may be a few changes in the published table, it is substantially correct.
