Show Suffrage reigns supreme. The lecture as a whole was very interesting and instructive. Pres. Kleanor Ward made closing remarks. After singing, which is quite an interesting feature, in our association, associa-tion, meeting was adjourned. A meeting of the Woman's Suffrage Association of Willard j was held in the Tabernacle, Mon- uay evening, Jan. zoni, i.vm. There was a large attendance, and the following interesting program was carried out: After the usual opening exercises, Mrs. Lottie Hubbard read a beautiful selection entitled: "The Farmer's Wife." A song was nicely rendered by Mrs. Sally Hubbard. Honorable T. W. Brewerlon next occupied the stand. He delivered i an excellent lecture on ''Woman's Suffrage." The following is a brief I synopsis of his remarks: "Woman's Suffrage is a subject which claims the interest of a vast number of people. In the past, man has been termed the lord of creation and woman i egarded as ins slave, but in this enlightened age woman should stand on the same footing, and exercise her power equally with man. Although woman in the past has had no voice in helping to make the laws,, there is no reason why intelligent women should not have the privilege to do so at the present pres-ent time. Only of late she has been permitted to enter the higher colleges, and it has been proven that she is fully as capable of holdi ng office and performing political duties as her brother, man." He urged the ladies to rally round and join the association associa-tion pud educate themselves in politics. "In as much as you are agitating the question you will be strengthened, and intelligence will be given; you will progress until you stand on an equal fooling fool-ing with man."
