The young couple will make their home in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sherwood and family spent Sunday picnicking pic-nicking at Ponderosa Park. D Artis Guthrie of MacFarland. A large crowd enjoyed cake, ice cream and punch, "and spent the evening dancing to music by Mrs. Emma Rollins. 3 Deanna Walker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theman Walker, celebrated her ninth birthday Saturday, July 14. Hot Dogs and the trimmings, birthday cake, ice cream, suckers and bubble gum were served to Leslie and Larae Marshall and Ronnie Walker. After lunch the children attended the matinee mat-inee at the Firmage Theatre. Mrs. Ruby Grayson and Jan-' Jan-' ice and Artis Guthrie were in Cedar City Tuesday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Clarke Wright of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sherwood and family, and Bob Wright and son of Salt Lake were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wright Saturday. e Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones and children of Springville are visiting vis-iting at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Jones, Mr. and Mrs. EIRoy Jones, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jones. Leah Ruth Dalton of Minersville Miners-ville is spending a week as guest of Connie Marshall at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claus Marshall. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wright are proud of a new grandson, Ray Allen, born Wednesday, July 11, at the Iron County Hospital, Hos-pital, to Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wright of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Jones were in Duncan, Ariz., last week to attend the funeral services of Mrs. Jones' brother in law, William Wil-liam Matheson. Weston Grayson left Tuesday for Las Vegas, where he is now employed. |
