Show Obituaries Elmer Cforringe Dies In Arizona Word was received In Tremonton Tuesday morning of the death of Elmer Gorringe, 63 ,at his home in Phoenix. The family left Tremonton three years ago, because of the ill health of Mr. Gorringe. He had been somewhat improved until an attack of the flu, from which he did not recover. Mr. Gorringe was born in Chesterfield, Idaho, January 28, 1889. He married Mayme Gam to Bancroft, Idaho, December 22, 1915. They lived there for several years, where he operated a harness shop, then moved to Tremonton,' where he engaged in the same business. Surviving are his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Cleo Landvatter and Mrs. Lou Kinsey, both of Phoenix, 4 grandchildren, and Mrs. Betty Wells and Mrs- Lena Ctnistensen, both of whom lived with the Goninnges most of their lives until they married. Funeral services were set for Thursday In Phoenix. - Services Held For Yost Baby Funeral services for Elizabeth Eelyn Smith, and Myr-n- a Carolyn Cornahan Smith of Tost, who died Thursday were conducted Monday at 1 p m. The services were held at the Yost Ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - day Saints. She died in a Brigham City Hospital following an illness of . four days. She was born November 5, 1951, at Brigham City. , Besides her parents she is survived by a sister, Connie Leola Smith Yost, and three grandparents, Mrs. Evelyn Smith, Yost, and Mr. and Mrs. M. Cornahan, Malta, Idaho. daughter of William S. Shirley Tanner Services Held Bishop Elmer Kimber conducted the funeral services Wednesday In Grouse Creek for Shirley Tanner, 11, daughter of. Mr," and Mrs. Herbert Tanner. A ladles sextette sang, ."Sometime We'll Understand" to open the service and the prayer was offered by Bishop Gordon Car- ter Park Valley. , of Other musical numbers included a vocal solo, "Beyond The Sunset", by Monte Tanner; A vocal duet, "Just A' Wearyin For You," by Naomi and Ralda Kimber; and a vocal solo, "In The Garden," by Robert Pasket. The benediction was given by Bishop Parley Pasket of Wells Nevada. Burial was in the G r o u s e Creek cemetery and the grave was dedicated by Sidney Pasket. Services Held Gives Meat For Palmer Family Wed. Cutting Hints The Brigham Seventh Ward chapel and hall were overflowing Wednesday afternoon, when friends and relatives gathered for funeral services for the Palmer family, who were killed last week in an automobile accident. Eldon Grant Palmer, his wife, Joise Colleen Sorensen Palmer, and their 22 months old daughter, Becky all died in a head on collision of the family car and a moving truck near Bear River El-d- on City. Bishop Lewis Wight presided and Bishop Ray G. Wood of the Capitol Ward, Salt Lake City conducted the service. The prelude was played by Gladys Lund and the invocation was offered by Bishop Dan Hickman. Speakers for the service were D. G. Nelson, Earl Hickman, Harvey Harris and Bishop Wood.
