He will report back on the 16th. Mr. and Mrs: Jasper Shaffer took their children to Salt Lake City on Sunday where they attended the open house at the Children's Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Allred and Mr. and Mrs. Emery Merriot were in Salt Lake City on Monday. On returning they Visited in Ogden with Mr. and Mrs. Parley Allred. The occasion was Mr. Allred's Birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Lyn Larson attended two basket ball games in Logan this week. Friday evening they saw the Utah State-BYgame, and Saurdtay the Utah State-NeMexico Game. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Larson and family made a trip up Logan Canyon Saturday to see the deer. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Oyler were dinnr guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Holman Friday .after which they drove to Logan and visited with Mrs. Karen Hansen. ELWOOD sir By Mable Romer Scouts Make Canyon Trip SEE OUR NEW ENTERTAINMENT Last Friday about thirty boy their leaders met at the church to start their trip to the Hardware Ranch in Blacksmith Fork Canyon. They spent the night at the ranch and watched the elk being fed Saturday morning. The group returned Saturday afternoon. The trip provided an opportunity for many of the boys to pass some of their tests. Last Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Mack Hansen and family and Mrs. Erma Miller spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Hansen at Mink Creek, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Holbrook of Salt Lake spent several days last week at the Marlon Miller home. A family dinner was held Wednesday night.
