Jenson, a civilian doctor who was a key player in the design of the building and the furthering of the practice of preventive medicine among all employees until his death in Au- San Francisco. He then practiced general practice medicine at the LDS Hospital from 1946 to 1950 during which time he also served as the Union Pacific Railroad physician, Davis County health officer, and the Davis County mental health counselor. Although he served these special duties for several years, he practiced general practice at St. Mark's Hospital from 1950 to 1965 and then moved to the South Davis Hospital in general practice. He served as head of Davis County Rehabilitation from 1970 to 1973 when he assumed his duties at USAF Hospital Hill. Doctor Jenson was board certified by the American Board of Family Practice, board eligible by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Occupational Medicine, a Diplomat of the Board of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of the American Medical Association, Utah Medical Association, Davis County Medical Association, American Academy of Emergency Medicine, American Hygiene Society and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists. medicine was adopted. Doctor Jenson assisted in the establishment of a computer system to schedule civilian personnel for occupational medicine and audiometric examinations. This led to Hill being designated as the lead base for the Computerized Occupational Health and Environmental Surveillance System. Justifying reasons for the dedication, officials said, "Doctor Jenson added a new dimension to occupational health and preventive medicine. "Through his outstanding knowledge of and dedication to occupational medicine and preventive medicine, the number and amount of lost time and compensation claims have been reduced substan- gust 1985. He attended the Rush Medical College at the University of Chicago in 1942 and performed rotating internship and general residency at the LDS Hospital in 1942 and 1943.
