Dove Shoot, Bow and Arrow Deer Hunt End Saturday The mourning dove and archery arch-ery deer seasons come to a close next Sunday, Sept. 16. Both hunts began Sept. 1, with varied var-ied success afield shown in reports re-ports to date. The dove hunt remains open until Sept. 16 in only the lower elevation counties. Field reports re-ports note spotty hunting in many sections during early days of the season, as cold weather in late August started the birds migrating southward. Best hunting has been in Millard, Mil-lard, Beaver, Iron and Washington Wash-ington counties. Archery deer hunting continues con-tinues on a statewide basis thru Sunday. Early information tells of many archers successfully bagging an animal. A large portion of the kills have been in the Eastern Uintas and in the Beaver Mountains.
