By writing the church of Christ at the address below, or by 8 calling you can get free of charge Acof counts Pauls Conversion Paralleled. Supplies are limited, so act now. In the account found in chapter twenty-twPaul states that after he amved in the city, Ananias, a devout and inspired man, came to minister unto him. In verse sixteen he said unto Paul, And now why tarriest thou? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on his name. In another place we read that he arose and was baptized (Acts 9:18; cf. 26:19). But can you imagine Paul returning, Oh, no! Baptism isnt necessary! Another preacher told me that baptism cant wash away sins. In fact it would show that I dont have enough faith in Gods grace. No, it is difficult to imagine Paul refusing to obey the inspired commands of another, but if Paul were alive today he may just have said those words. Such is the current trend. We plead with men to obey the commands of God like Paul . . . without argument. Will you. like Paul, arise and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on his name? o, -- 259-781- o m -- ' 1981.
