Randall Jones of Salt Lake City, native of Cedar City, and a lifelong booster of Southern Utah parks and wonderlands, reviewed a number of personal experiences he had enjoyed while on lecture tours over the United States, at the Kl wards weekly luncheon held Tuesday. Of greatest Interest was his description of oppotrunlties that came to him to show his pictures to three presidents of the United States, Warren O. Harding, Calvin Coolidge ant Franklin D. Roosevelt. He com pared the quiet and formal way In which he was reclved by Calvin Coolidge as compared to the Jovial happy manner of President Roose velt. He said that the two greatest thrills of these tours was the op portunity to come to a private residence of a Dr. Burridge In Bos ton, who was an invalid and give his show for him and a group of his select friends and the privilege that came to him to give his lllus trated lecture to the crippled child ren of the Shrine Hospital in the city of Springfield, Mass. In commenting on how Utahn's can best advertise their state and its beauties he said that he knew of no better way than to write per sonal letters to friends and relatives and describe for them just what we have here. He told of the results that came in the east from Just such a letter from Dr. George Mld- dleton of Salt Lake City to a friend, Dr. Kelly, and the number who had been in to see his pictures and hear his lecture as the result of this letter.
