Show PIONEER MOTHER PASSES AWAY AFTER A LONG ILLNESS IL I 1 mrs S r F zimmerman who died in L D S hospital at salt lake was a faithful member of later laiter day saints church I 1 one of the largest funerals ever held in roosevelt was that of mrs S F zimmerman which was held at the ro roosevelt hall wednesday afternoon at two ocI ock the hall was iwas crowded with many friends and relatives ten little grandchildren and friends dressed in white walked before the casket when it was brought into the th hall they each carried a beautiful spray of flowers vie apall bearers were neal lundberg clair larsan karaen orlan orian elmer and leonand roberts and W H gagon the program was as follows funeral march played by mrs ernest 11 II burgess Bur gesa musical selection mrs J P may alay ardis ardia pack john E and brue bruchu calder invocation robert lambert musical selection by the quartet address ray E dillman who paid aid the deceased a beautiful tribute solo john E accompanied com compa panted nied by reta gines paul S hanson spoke feelingly of the great service w which hichi mrs Zimmer maii had rendered ini in the community according in to the desire expressed of mrs zimmerman Zimmer nian just before her death a short time during the services iwas given to the testimony bearing of flier friends many spoke of acer er wonderful life of service and nearly everyone in the house tad had been helped by her in some way bishop pack who presided pie sided also spoke oke of ber value to the community both in helping in sickness and in council to all a 11 who came to her tor for help the quartet sang and arthur wis combo pronounced the benediction InUi ment was in the city cemetery paul S hanson dedicated the grave the wonderfully beautiful display ot of flowers testified to the many friends she he had and their appreciation of her loving help mis alis zimmerman was born in denver colo july 28 1867 she moved to price and from there came to the reservation in 1910 she lived for a short time on a farm near roosevelt and moved to vernal whew where she lived for two years she then came to roosevelt and has bas resided here since she was married to charles zimmerman on april 4 1894 at garden park colo for some time she has been ailing and about two weeks an ago she went to salt lake city where she died july 29 she is survived by her Dius husband band and the following children mrs lavern hanson ot of lapoint utah jack zimmerman of roosevelt roosavelt mis rose ot of salt lake city mrs airs charles eakins of salt lake city wad and francis alm raer binerman nian of roosevelt and eight grandchildren llna lina switzer of phoenix arizona came to roosevelt to attend the funeral services of mrs airs S F zimmerman mrs switzer Is s I 1 mr Zimmer marks B sister and has not seen her brother for twenty years |
