Show Springviile Seals C meet winners At a C Swim Meet held at Springville Community Pool recently many swim team members made a great showing. Lorelei Gammell in the six and under girls age group took home the high point trophy and Danielle Mac-Arthur Mac-Arthur in the 13-14 girls category won three first and a second to win the high point for her. . For the six and under girls Lorelei placed first in the 25-yard breast-stroke, breast-stroke, and the 25-yard butterfly, second in the 25-yard freestyle, 25-yard 25-yard backstroke, and the 50-yard freestyle. Katee Hatfield placed third in the 50-yard freestyle, fifth in the 25-yard backstroke, and sixth in the 25-yard freestyle. Audrey Jensen placed fourth in the 25-yard freestyle. Jeff Johnston placed second in the 25-yard breaststroke, and freestyle and 50-yard freestyle and third in the 25-yard backstroke. For seven and eight-year-old girls, Tara Huff placed first in the 50-yard backstroke and got a B Certificate, second in the 50-yard butterfly, third in the 50-yard freestyle, and the 100-yard 100-yard individual medley, and ninth in the 50-yard breaststroke. Rebecca Skabelund placed third in the 50-yard backstroke, fourth in the 50-yard freestyle, and 50-yard breaststroke, and fifth in the 100-yard 100-yard individual medley. Trinna Johnson placed second in the 50-yard backstroke and received her B Certificate and sixth in the 50-yard 50-yard freestyle and eighth in the 50-yard 50-yard breaststroke. Do you happen to have a key to one of the many lockers at the pool? For the rest of the month of May, if you will return the key to any of the lockers, you will receive a free swim at the pool. If you have a swim pass then you will receive a free swim card that you can give to a friend or relative to use. A list of missing keys will be available to be checked against the key that is returned to make sure it is a missing key. In the last several months many keys have come up missing and they are expensive to replace so if you have one please return it and enjoy a free swim at the same time. samples. There will be classes available for the very beginner through the advanced swimmer. Private, semi-private and group classes will be offered. The first session of Learn-to-Swim Lessons starts Monday, June 6, at 8:30 a.m. Classes will run Monday through Friday for ten lessons with a make-up class at the end if a lesson is missed in the ten scheduled classes. Classes will be at 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and again from 5 to 6 p.m. Ronda Hickey Brailsford will again be teaching the infant swimming program during the summer and her prices will be the same as the price on private lessons. Ronda teaches the small infant through five years of age. There will be a Mommy and Me class starting June 6 at 11:30 a.m. Mommy and Me will run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 30 minutes. This class is for the mother and infant to get into the water together and enjoy a learning experience. ex-perience. Pre-school will run at the same time as the Mommy and Me class and is for children from three to six years of age.
