1 THE EAST SIDE HIGHSCHOOL I The people of tho whole city will be I gratified to seo that n beginning Is to be made at once In the High School for the east side The Unityear pupils the graduates from the eighth grade last June who live cast of Main street will be assigned to the upper floor of the Bryant school where they will take up the first years work of the High School Next year the second years work will be added and so on year by year until the school Is fully developed The teachers arc among the strongest of the corps and will be I ample In number for this fine class of about 1 hundred and twenty with which the new High School will begin I In u promising beginning encouraging encour-aging In every way The pupils will be sufficient to form strong classes and these will be reinforced by the graduaten at the halfyear The eighth grade graduates from vest ofMain 1 street will go to the west side High School on old University square which school will have the ensuing year sonic thing over eight hundred puplliv > It Is the design to make the east side High I School In ftvery way as strong and as satisfactory In Instruction as that of the west side and parents are Invited to lend their confidence and support without reserve to the wihout le newly established estab-lished school We believe that this confidence con-fidence will be fully justified and that the east side school In Its gradual growth and full development will be 3 power for good not only in I Itself but In Its beneficial influence on the whole city public school system
