Show AMENDED ZONING ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REVISING THE PLANNING AND ZONING ORDINANCE OF CEDAR CITY, UTAH, DECEMBER, DECEM-BER, 1961 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission Com-mission as duly appointed and designated for and in behalf of the municipal entity, CEDAR CITY CORPORATION, has made certain investigations, studies and recommendations with regard re-gard to the present use and future fu-ture contemplated use and, WHEREAS, said investigations, studies and recommendations by said Planning Commission aforesaid afore-said deem it to be in the best interest in-terest of the Municipal Corporation Corpora-tion and the inhabitants thereof to change, alter and amend the Residential Two (R2) Zone, as more specifically hereinafter described, de-scribed, to the Residential Three (R3) Zone, and thereby include the area hereinaftei described and the land use peimitted in the Residential Three R3t Zone. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED ORDAIN-ED by the City Council of Cedar City, Utah: Section 1: That the Revised Vlanning and Zoning Ordinance for Cedar City, Utah, December 1961, be and the same is hereby ameniL'd, altered and changed to include the following described describ-ed area in the Residential Three R3 Zone, to-wit: Commencing 198 ft. E. and 49.-5 49.-5 ft. S. of the SW Corner of Block 38, Plat "B", Cedar City Town Survey, said point being on the center line of Center Street and the present R3 Zone line, and running thence E. along center line of Center Street to center of Coal Creek; thence NW'ly along center of Coal Creek channel to a point of intersection of the center line of 200 North Street and the center line of Coal Creek channel; chan-nel; thence West along the center line of 200 North street, to the E. edge of present R3 Zone; thence S. along the center cen-ter lot line of Block 38, Plat "B" (present E. line of R3 Zone) to beginning. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect twenty (20) days after af-ter its publication or thirty 30( days after its passage, or whichever which-ever of said dates is the most remote re-mote from final passage.
