Show Oscar Hulet Named ToFHA County Committee Oscar J. Hulet, of Summit, an Iron County farmer and retired educator has been named to the Fanners Home Administration County Committee by Karl J. Magleby, State Director. Mulct's I apointment is for three years. He succeeds Richard Nelson of 1 Enoch. Hulet and his son, operate a I range cattle unit having irrl-I irrl-I gated farm near Summit and , range land In Hamblin Valley. I He has served in the field of education ed-ucation for 42 years, of which 28 years were as Principal of the Cedar City Elementary School and 10 years as Principal of the North Elementary School. Mr. Hulet has been active in the LDS Church as Bishop, member of the Stake Presidency, Stake High Council and currently Is Stake Patriarch. June S. Barron, the Agency's Supervisor for Iron County, said Mr. Hulet's responsibilities as a committeeman will be to determine deter-mine eligibility of applicants for loans and certify as to amount of real estate and operating operat-ing loans for borrowers. He will also have similar responsibility under the Economic Opportunity loans to rural people. No loan can be processed without the committee certification. In 1964 loans under certification by the committee totaled $736,450.00 while collections amounted to $737,271.00. Mr. Hulet will currently cur-rently be serving with Gordon Moyle of Beryl and Charles Dalton of ra rowan. |
