Mrs. Mae Fletcher, Mrs. Jennie Brown, Mrs. Julia Anlhon, Mrs. Jane Stewart, Mrs: Grace Crandall and Mrs. Ad-die Ad-die Jessee. Miss Helen Mendenhall was hostess hos-tess to the Gleaner girls and their leaders of the Third ward Tuesday evening at lier home. The lessoii and games were enjoyed by the following girls: Josephine Dougall. Jessie Packard, Lillian llussell. Louise Coffman, Lucile Straw, ltuth Boyer and Delia B. Bird. The Sunday school class, led by Ivy Phillips of the First ward, spent Saturday afternoon and evening eve-ning at Keiley's Grove. A "weinie ; roast;' w ith.pie-nio lunth and games were features of entertainment enjoyed en-joyed by about twelve members and guests. Mr. and Mrs. Jioss Mason and family of Eureka motored to Springville Sunday spending the day with Mrs. Mason's parents Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Dalliu. A prettily arranged dinner party-was party-was given last Thursday evening by Miss Melba Condie, in compliment to Mr. Harvard Osmond of Washington, Wash-ington, 1. C. The dining table was centered with a crystal basket ' of pink roses around which covers were laid for six guests. , The health clinic for pre-school age children was held Wednesday in the Third ward Belief society hall, where a large number of babies were examined and heipfut sug-' gestions given to the mothers by Dr. Floyd Cullimore. The members of the Social Twelve Card club were delightfully entertained enter-tained Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Bert Iiowland. Progressive Pro-gressive "500" was featured at which Mrs. Lewis Clegg won high score. Dainty refreshments were served to Mrs. G. D. Kennedy. Mrs. Lee Stimsion. Mrs. Arthur Finley, Mrs. Lewis Clegg. He will leave for tin; missionary school in the latter part of August. ; The recreational committee of the Third ward entertained at a welcome home party Wednesday evening in the ward ,chaiel in compliment com-pliment to Miss Carrol Bird, "who recently returned from a Mexican mission. The time was spent with games and a program during which Miss Bird gave a short talk and also Bishop Balph Smart. A delightful motor trip and picnic lunch was taken Sunday to Keiley's .Grove friends: Mr. and Mrs. Will Phillips. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Rowland, Row-land, Mr. and Mrs. Amasia Rowland, Row-land, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Sunision, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Clegg and Mr. and Mrs. George Crandall. Miss ITaroldine Martin was married mar-ried Wednesday June 22 in Salt Lake city, to Arnold Rnsmnssen of Provo.
