Show Ever wonder what you Jl abznts are pretty mixed up sometimes. I mean, they're all right . but they just get confused Take my dad, for instance. All he walks around the neighborhood in a pair of blue shorts that hang down around his knees. Now my dad's okay, but his legs aren't much. Sort of heavy, you know, and hairy. Well, I like to wear shorts in the Summer, too, when it gets hot and my pants stick to me. So what happens? Cell downtown to get me some shoes and it was real hot so I put on a pair of shorts. My dad takes one look at me and sends me back up- stairs to change into long pants. Know what he said? I've had it rougher than most kids because my father is a maga- writer and he's all the time putting out stories about me and my sisters that aren't true or at least are only a little bit true. "Well, what he says about my sisters is pretty accurate, but he really dreams up some wild stuff about me. But even so, I don't think my parents are much different from other parents. Here are a lew things I've noticed about them. fathers hate to be wrong, so if you see them goof up, it's better not to say anything. like last Fall, for instance. We were on our way to a football game and we came to a railroad crossing where there was a freight train.
