Dr. Sabin has served as Research Professor of Pediatrics at the University Uni-versity of Cincinnati College of Medicine since 1946. His research exploits have won him honors and distinctions all over the world. He has contributed more than 280 scientific sci-entific papers on subjects ranging from pneumoccous to infection, poliomyelitis, encephalitis, virus diseases of the nervous system, to other topics relating to other infectious in-fectious diseases. Dr Albert B. Sabin, developer o, the Sabin attenuated live-virus polio vaccine, is now in Utah, will be here through Saturday, to serve as Visiting Professor of Postgraduate Postgrad-uate Medical F.ducation at the University Uni-versity College of Medicine. Dr. Sabin who holds the title of Distinguished Service Professor of Research Pediatrics at the University Univer-sity of Cincinnati College of Medi-cne, Medi-cne, andi Chief of the Division of Virology and Cancer Research, the Children's Hospital Research Foundation Foun-dation of Cincinnati, will "mix in" with students, faculty and 6taff of the Utah College of Medicine during dur-ing his visiting week. Also, he will participate in regular activities of the College's Division of Postgraduate Postgrad-uate Medical Education. - The Postgraduate Division's Visiting Professor program was initiated in 1962 to bring the nation's na-tion's leading medical educators to the College of Medicine, annually, an-nually, for a week of teaching, ward rounds, lectures and meetings meet-ings with students, practitioners and faculty. Because Dr. Sabin's visit to Salt Lake is part of the College of Medicine's Medi-cine's regular teaching and research program, his schedule is not open to the public. WHILE AT the College of Medicine Medi-cine he will visit departments, conduct con-duct ward rounds in the Salt' Lake County, and V.A. Hospitals, and give a series of lectures on subjects sub-jects including, "Rabies," "Role of Enteroviruses in Human Disease," '"Virus Cancer Relationship" and "Viruses in Respiratory Disease of Children."
