Mr. and Mrs. Junius Thompson accompanied Ed Rosa to Salt Lake City last Thursday, where they met Mr. Rosa's brother and sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rosa, of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Mrs. Louie Gray and daughter, Gladys and Mrs. J. D. Galloway, of Houston, Texas. They spent Thursday and Friday in Salt Lake City, sightseeing and also attended the Organ Recital and were especially amazed at the courtesy shown by the guide on the Temple grounds. They also had a guide at the Capital who was very courteous. After visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Mor oni Mortensen, of Bear River City, and Mr. and Mrs. Junius Thompson, they went on to Twin Falls, Idaho, where they attended a family reunion and met many more of their relatives whom they had not seen for years. Franklin Grant, of Brigham City, brother of Mrs. Trent Thompson spent Sunday at the Thompson home. P. Hansen attended a party given by the F. E. R. A. office force of Brigham City at the Box Elder park Thursday evening. A lovely program and picnic was enjoyed by a large crowd. Mrrs. Amos P. Hanson enjoyed the annual banquet given at Hotel Ben Lomond at Ogden for all Relief Society, Farm Bureau and club presidents from all the counties in Utah. After the banquet and program, all enjoyed a sightseeing trip and picture show in Ogden. Mrs. Hansen re turned home the same evening, while many enjoyed the free hotel accomo dation during the night. Miss Eva Sanders from Logan col lege spent the weekend at the home of H. P. Rasmussen, where she attended the wedding of her brother, Rue. The Scandinavians of Brigham City gave a lovely program here Sunday at 2 p. m. Some of the people from Tremonton were also in attendance. Mrs. Strand gave a couple vocal solos in her native language. Miss Luby Rasmussen, of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. P. J. Sanders, of Nephi came up on Thursday to attend the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Rue Sanders They stayed until Sunday when the newlyweds accompanied them to Salt Lake City.
