Show COUNTY EXCEEDS WAR DRIVE QUOTA Sales Total More Than $15,000,000 Congratulations again to Cache County for a clear record re-cord of accomplishment in war financing, Frederick P. Champ, Area Coordinator for the Treasury Department and the State War Finance Committee declared today. "With total sales running well over $1,500,000 Co-chair man Russell S. Hanson and Henry R. Hurren and Executive Ex-ecutive Vice Chairman Edgar B. Mitchell and the fine organization or-ganization which has functioned func-tioned under them through this difficult drive are deserving de-serving of the thanks of all good citizens for a job well done. "It appears that Cache County has achieved its quota quo-ta in E Series bonds, individual individ-ual other than E bond, and sales to municipalities. This is indicative of the well balanced bal-anced organization and the well directed effort which has gone into the management manage-ment of the Drive in this County. "To the officers of the County Organization, to every ev-ery worker, and to every subscriber goes the thanks and appreciation of the United Unit-ed States Treasury Department Depart-ment and- the Stater Organization Organ-ization in the successful conclusion con-clusion of the Sixth War Loan Drive in Cache County. "It is likely that before the period of the Drive is completed com-pleted and all the reports are in, sales in Cache County may exceed $1,600,000," Mr. Champ stated. "In view, of the big war job we still have ahead, the regular purchase of war bonds through pay roll deductions de-ductions and otherwise by all citizens is urged. It is only by this consistent performance perform-ance that we can make the drives really count in getting us over the humps," he said. |
