Show Student Choir To Sing Today The University Chamber Choir, under the direction of B. W. Hales, will sing today at noon in the student stu-dent lounge of the East Institute. According to Craig Fineshriber, member of the recently formed LDSSA Committee for the Performing Per-forming Arts, this choir represents some cf the top singing talent at the University. The 17 member group has a varied repertoire and will sing numbers ranging from Bach to show music. Promote Music The Committee for the Performing Perform-ing Arts has been formed to promote pro-mote music and dance among the LDS students and to give students an opportunity to perform. Fineshriber said the committee's long-range goal is to create a reservoir res-ervoir of talent to be used in high schools to create interest in LDSSA. The committee will sponsor midday mid-day recitals every Tuesday at noon. |
