Jeanette Young Is Nursing Graduate HATCH Mr. and Mrs. Ron Young of Hatch, announce the graduation of their daughter, Jeanette Diane Young, from St. Marks Hospital School of Baccalaureate Nursing of Westminster College, Salt Lake City, May 27. Westminster College, which is In its 104th year Is the only private college in Utah which offers a four year B.S. degree nursing program. During her college years, Miss Young was employed full time at St. Marks Hospital with the orthopedic unit as a med-surg nurse technician. During her course of study, she participated in the first video tape teaching film at St. Marks, received in structors certification for advanced first aid, received three merit awards for outstanding performance. She also taught nursing 100 class in her senior yeai1, submitted a wide extensive paper on total hip arthroplasty which was submitted to and accepted into the St. Marks 1 ELBp TBtf IbT bhPbK'' EMbbbbEbb! Although working full time, Miss Young carried a 4.0 GPA through her junior year and graduated with a 3.S GPA. - She will continue with St. Marks In her new position of R.N. for an indefinite period of time after which she will pursue her medical education going for her masters degree and then her doctors degree.
