Show Camp PI. Grove DUP Holds Meet, Elects New Officers Daughter of Utah Pioneers Camp Pleasant Grove met Friday at 2 p.m. for their closing meeting of the season at the home of Mrs. J. M. Macfarlane. Big- feature of the day was election of officers. Mrs. Priscilla S .Christiansen was re-eleoted Captain. Other officers elected, some also al-so holdover, were Charlotte M. Carlson, 1st vice Captain; Fern Woolley. 2nd vice captain; Minnie Hall, secretary-treasurer; Lucinda Pearce, Chaplain; Verdell Lim, registrar, reg-istrar, Emma W. Overlade, historian. histor-ian. County officers present were Captain Osa Ferguson and! 1st vice captain Lucile Anderson, both of Orem. The regular lesson, Monuments Erected by DUP, was presented by Nora Macfarlane. County captain Osa Ferguson talked to the group and gave instructions pertaining to the DUP program. Captain Christiansen voiced appreciation ap-preciation for confidence of the camp, expressed in her re-election and gave a report lof activities during dur-ing the past year. Mrs. Macfarlane and co-hostess Verdell Lim served tasty refreshments. |
