Show Vocational School Graduates Two PI. Grove Boys Two Pleasant Grove young men will be among the graduates of Central Utah Vocational School on Wednesday, May 29 at 8 p.m. at Park Ward Chapel, Provo. They are Jerry Butt, son of Mr. and Mis. William F. Butt and Boyd Carter, sen of Mr .and Mrs. Orval Carter. Jeiry will receive a certificate in dicsel mechanics "and Boyd will receive a certificate in electricity. Wilson W. Sorensen, president of the school, announces there are thirty-eight students who will receive re-ceive Class "A" certificates, indicating in-dicating itliey have completed two years of training which consists of 2100 clock hows of training. Three additional students will receive "B" certificates at the exercises indicating indica-ting they have been in attendance at school two years for a total of 1200 clock hours. One hundred twenty-one other students have completed requirements require-ments necessary to receive a certificate. cer-tificate. Many other students have received receiv-ed enough skill in their chosen field of training to accept employment prior to receiving enoug'h hours of training to receive a diploma. Mr. S'oi'Ensen states that the pri-nvary pri-nvary objective of the schcol is to prepare students for employment and states that the school has attained at-tained its objective this school year by training several hundred people with skills necessary to either acquire ac-quire employment or upgrade themselves in 'their present occupation. occu-pation.
