Cullimore an assistant to the Council of Twelve in the IDS Church Presided over the. sessions of the Malad Stake quarteJy Conference held in Malad Saturday and Sunday. The theme of the conference was ''The Blessing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ" The film "Meet the Mormans" was shown Saturday evening; The wives of the Stake Presidency, executive secretary and ward clerks hosted their husbands and Elder Cullimore to a dinner at the Stake Building between Conference sessions Saturday. Elder Cullimore was the re guest of President and Mrs. Harris from Friday till Sunday. He enjoyed dinner at the Harris home Sunday before returning to Salt Lake. A special guest and featured speaker for the program of the annual Father's and Son's "Trail Ride" Friday evening was Elder James E. Cullimore. The annual event is sponsored by the Malad IDS Stake MIA. Riders met at the Griffiths ranch north of Malad, they traveled to the forks of the canyon above Power House Campgrounds where a Barbecued beef supper was served at 7 p.m. Breakfast was served Saturday morning to those remaining over night. Those who went in cars met at the fork of the canyon by driving up Powerhouse canyon. Among those attending from Portage were President Harris, Bishop Glen Morris, Douglas Gibbs and sons Robert, Bruce and Darrin, Chester P. Neal and Wynn John and sons, J. Neal and Larry Lynn. Elder Cullimore was very impressed with the outstanding affair of the Fathers and Sons De-ve- oirting. Keith Conley of Camona Island, Wash, visited with his par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Theodore Hoskins, Mr, and Mrs. Clifford Hoskins, Mr. and Mrs. J. Gibbs, Burke and Shanne Gibbs and Mrs. Richard Green and son Hunter of Tremonton. Special honor was given to Mrs. William Gibbs and Mrs. Theodore Hoskins who attended the 1st reunion held in the family. The door prize was won by Cy Gibbs, which was a beautiful painting that had been pointed by Hugh Wells of Salt Lake. Mr. Wells is 89 years old. All had a very enjoyable w, time. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Budge and family of Logan, were Sunday guests of Mrs. Budge's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Devere Harris. They enjoyed supper with them Sunday. Sharon Forsgren, daughter of Mike Giles Attends Clinic Saturday Mike Giles returned home from Twin Falls, Idaho where he attended a Basketball Clinic at the College of South-e-m Idaho for one week. Oscar Lavon Richardson of 3rd E, Brigham, was drowned Tuesday, June 19, 1973 in Willard Bay while attempting to save his daughter who called for help. He was born Dec. 19, 1935 in Brigham City to Jedediah and Wanda Bowden Richardson. He married Barbara Hunter April 25, 1958 in the Logan LDS Temple. He was reared in Brigham City and a graduate of Box Elder High. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1960. He taueht artatMnntecellnHteh School for nine years. He had lived in Elwood for two years and Brigham City the last year. He had taught at Box Elder for the past three years where he had taught special education and was the wrestling coach. He has been an active LDS Church worker, he had been teacher in the Sunday School and YMMIA, Sunday School Superintendent. At the time of his death he was President of the Elders Quorum in the Brigham City 4th Ward. Survivors are his widow and four sons and two daughters all of Brigham; Oscar Wayne, Allen Kirk, William Trent, Bryon Dale and daughters Barbara1 Kim and Suzett Richardson.
