Gilchrist of Lehi, recently received commission as a naval officer after completing Officer Candidate School in Naw in May graduate of 1996. He is a 1997 BYU with a BS degree. Pensacola, Fla. the During Marsh program. received extensive instruction on a variety of specialized subjects including navigation, ship handling, engineering, naval warfare and management. Marsh also completed a demanding daily physical fitness program that involved running, swimming and calisthenics.
