Todd Page kicked the PAT for a 12--7 score. Cedar City's quarterback, Dave Carter, created some defensive problems for AF by scrambling from sideline to sideline. He ran for nearly 100 yards on the ground and scored one of the touchdowns. A frustrating fourth quarter ended Mings 7-- 6 Some short punts kept PG deep in their own territory and the Dixie defense dropped laga for a safety.
