Show Dr. Carl D. Lusty, M.D. EVANSTON, WYO. Dr7 Carl Donald "Doc" Lusty, M.D., 83, died July 30 1997 in Sandy. He was born May 29, 1914 in Evanston, Wyo. to Harold Callis and Mabel Martha Wallwork Lusty. He married Celinda Davidson, later divorced; married Alta Clair Humphreys; later divorced. He attended school in Evanston Evan-ston at Creighton University and medical school at University of Colorado. Carl excelled in athletics, athlet-ics, especially track and football and played in the second Cotton Bowl. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was stationed in the Pacific Theater as a Commander Com-mander in medical units. He organized the medical battalion bat-talion in the Idaho National Guard and retired as a Brigadier General. Gen-eral. He practiced family medicine medi-cine and surgery in Idaho, Nevada and Utah. Carl donated hundred of hours of medical care. He was an avid fisherman and gardner. He was an active member of the LDS church. He is survived by five daughters daugh-ters and one son: Theresa Lusty, Clarice (Steven) Christensen, Cecelia Lusty, Demaree (Harry) Johnson, Kirk Carl (Kaydon) Lusty, Janette Lusty; 14 grandchildren; grand-children; sisters, Inez Ping and Dorothy Lusty. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Vera Lusty. Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 2 in Sandy'. Burial was in the Evanston City Cemetery. Ceme-tery.
