As A Result Of The Proposed Increase, The Tax On A $50,000.00 Residence Will Be $84.84, And The Tax On A Business Having The Same Value As The Average Value Of A Residence Would Be $154.25. Without The Proposed Increase The Tax On A $50,000 Residence Would Be $49.12, And The Tax On A Business Having The Same Value As The Average Value Of A Residence In The Taxiing Entity Would Be $89.30. Escalante City Is Proposing To Increase Its Property Tax Revenue From $31,511.00 Collected Last Year To $60,121.00 Proposed This Year, An Increase Of $28,610.00.
