Show SanderS'Daly ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED Mr, and Mrs. Frank Sander of Ran Bernardino, Calif, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Catherine, to Franklin L. Daly of Pangultch. the couple will be married Sept. 18 In the LDS Temple In St. George, Miss Sanders has Just received her ff.A. degree In psychology from the BYU, where she was president of V Psychological Society and held membership In the Calif. Club and the Inter-OrganU-ntlonal Council. She attended San Bernardino City schools and San Bernardino Valley College on a scholarship from San Bernardino BPW, from which she graduated in 1948. She was employed at the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co. for three years before continuing her education at BYU. While In high school she worked on the Tyro Weekly, was office assistant and Spanish Club member. Mr. Daly completed a two year mission In Missouri and Arkansas for the LDS Church. He als has been attending the BYU, where he was president of the Intercollegiate Kntgts, national service organization; national delegate of Delta Phi, returned missionary fraternity; vice president of thel nter-Organlzatlonal Council ;e xecutlve of leer of the Arnold Air Society, which Is the hon orary division of the Air Fore ROTC; and will serve on the Associated Men Students Council next year. Mr. Daly la now at the AFROTC Rummer Camp, Norton Air Force Base, San Bernardino, Calif. He Is the son of Dr. Laverne, Daly of Richfield, and Mrs. Anna lMke of Los Angeles, and has made his home with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James T. Daly Jr. of Pangultch. |
