A strong double by 38Sth shortstop Ed Lamboy pushed in two runs in the sixth inning and put the 3SSth up 15-- but LAAFM wasn't ready to give up yet. The team, coached by Master Sgt. Brian Bekins, is no stranger to victory. In July ' they won the Western Regional Ammo Bowl for the fifth straight year. But before being crowned Hill's championship softball team, the 388th had to make it past LAAFM, a combination of Ogden ALC organizations, who also had a strong regular season record at 13-- 2, The 388th came with guns blazing, scoring four quick out 1 runs in the first inning, but LAAFM answered right back with five runs.
