POISON GAS FOR PRAIRIE DOGS 0 last summer the writer of this i article went with mr johnson kofl of the biological survey and put cy anonas flakes in 12 prairie ci doer 0 ay holes while the ground was waa still stil i damp from spring storms and then we covered up the holes and packed the dirt in well with our feet the next day we went back and found that not one of the dogs had dug out the results were the he same a week later and so it was decided that all of the dogs that were treated had been killed yesterday I 1 went out in the I 1 field and treated 17 holes with some of the same gas this was all the gas I 1 had today upon examining the holes that were treated I 1 found that not one of them have as yet been opened up j it seems that this gas is an answer to one of our greatest needs I 1 when mr Jh janson was dowal here about a week ago mr halls I 1 j gave him an order for pounds of this gas as well as poi 1 oats and pre bait it is hoped this dog poison will be here in the very near future as now seems to be the best time to poison especially with the gas I 1
