She is survived by her husband and eternal companion, Walter; their five children and their spouses: Walter Scott ffl m''i brothers and sisters, Ber- nice (Floyd) Hawkins, Trudy (Ray) Kartchn-er- , Mary (Gene) Martindell, Gus (June) Skousen, Julie (Owen) Urry, Al (Lorna) Skousen, Virginia (Ralph) Powell, Laurie (Gary) Ritchey. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings and one grandchild. . Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 17, 1998 at 11 Ward a.m. in the Lehi LDS Chapel, 145 E. 1500 No, Lehi. Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, Friday evening from 9 p.m. and at the Church, Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial wil be in the Lehi City -- cer. Kneisly can- at his in American Fork. was He born Oct. 31, 1931 in Eldon, Missouri to Aubrey and Marian Frelick Kneisly. He grew up and attended schools in the Compton, South Gate area of California. He married his high school sweetheart Mary Ann Curran May 20, 1950. In 1952 he became a mem- ber of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints and their marriage was solemnized in the St. George Temple in Utah in 1953. He became a master machinist and was the owner of two machine shops where he taught the trade to his two sons and worked side by side with them. Later he became a developmental manufacturing engineer involved in the first space shuttle and a pioneer in y the development of the computer industry in Silicon Val- ley, Ca. He traveled extensively in the Far East for his company and learned to love and was loved by the many people for his kindness and generosity. After retiring and moving to Utah he worked for RPM Service in Murray returning to the work he loved. Dave served as scout master in the Stake Young Men's Presidency, Elders Quorum President, High councilman, 2 Bishoprics, and High Priest Quorum President. He was also a Temple Worker in the Mount Timpano-go- s Temple. He is survived by his wife, Mary and his children, Lori and David Walter Kneisly, Jr. of Easley, South Carolina; Peggy and Michael Sullivan of Los Gatos, California; John Steven and Cindy Kneisly of Coralitos, California; Anna Beth and Bill Spooner of Mill Valley, California; 12 grandchildren; his mother; a brother, Aubrey Kneisly both of Washougal, Washington; a sister, Laura Joyce Bobbio of La Mesa, California. Dave was preceded in death by a sister, Janie Mae and his father. Melba grew up on her family's dairy farm, called Mountain Home, in Holladay, Utah. She loved to ride her horse to visit her grandparents, Henry and Sariah Pixton Wheeler. The farm is now known as the Wheeler historic farm. She graduated from Granite High School and was the first ricipi-eof the Lindquest Award. She was a mink rancher and retired at the age of 80. Melba loved to dance, often holding a grandchild in her arms. A lover of nature, she was especially fond of animals, she raised Shetland ponies throughout many years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she loved to attend church when she was able. Was a teacher in the Sunday school and Relief Society for many years. Enjoyed doing work in the LDS Temple. She and her husband served a mission at the Liberty Jail in Missouri.
