Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praise unto his hame; for it is pleasant Psalms 135:3 Myton Presbyterian Church The morning worship service at Myton Community Presbyterian Church on July' 14 was led by Mr. Ken Pearson of Central Christian Church in SLC. Ken led our services on the second Sunday of the Month for many years, so it seemed very natural to have him with us for a "second Sunday. Ken introduced his nephew, Richard Mayfield of Austin, Texas, who accompanied him. Ken brought news from Central Christian Church: Their interim pastor led the service for his final time today. Next Sunday will be the first regular service for their new pastor, who is moving up from Texas. Warren Sechler is now Visitation Pastor and continues to experience gradual improvement in his health. After greeting the congregation as a whole, Ken especially noted the nresence of Kyle Smith, home . ' . 41! 0 . and Ephesians Ken's sermon was Use All Your Health. He reminded us that sometime we forget (in our that we are the center of God's creation, and His power must flow through us and not stop in us. God tells us in Isaiah 41:10 that his power is available to us; and in Mark 5:36, Jesus tells us, Dont be afraid, only believe." Ken said that faith is our alternative to fear. Special prayers for recovery were said for our pastor, Glenn Thomson, and for Eddie Loranger, who is recovering from surgery, as well as others. Duchesne Baptist Church The Continental Singers and Orchestra will perform a live concert of contemporary Christian music on Tuesday August 6, at 8 p.m. at the Roy Park in Duchesne.
