Three vice presidents were elected during the session: Ralph Preece, Vernal: Edgar Hewl, Sharon Springs, Kan., and Carl Fisher, Hot Sulphur -Springs Colo. Lawrence Siddoway of Vernal Ver-nal was elected vice president at large and James Monger, Craig, Colo., was named sec-re sec-re tar y-trea surer. Mr. Thomas announced the selection of a new sloean, 'Be Sporty, Go Forty. " "We are going to use this in many ways. It will be printed on all brochures; we will erect many signs with it on and it will appear on all ads in newspapers and on bum per stickers, " he explained. The association's two main problems are turnoffs at Silver Creek Junction, east of Salt Lake where Highway 80 goes north and 40 goes south, and at Empire Junction near Idaho Springs in Colorado, said Mr. Thomas.
