In 1930. the old record was set at 98 degrees on Sept. 4. September was also the driest month of the year with only five hundredths of an inch falling. The average normal is .68 inch. real problems, said Kandy Taylor, public works director. The director sent crews to remove the sand off the road where it had blown. They hauled away six dump trucks full of sand mixed with snow. Dry Creek Rd. got the worst of the sand. Mr Bodell has lived most of his life in Herriman. He married Alice Jenson on Mar. 14. 1923 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; she died May 17, 1972. He later married Beth N. Tufte; she died December, 1978. He has a daughter, Mary Lou Densley, Sandy, nine and 23 grandchildren, great grandchildren. Mr Bodell was born Jan. 6. 1900 to Mr and Mrs William A. Bodell.
