Show 'Funeral of James Beck At Centerfield. News Items. A large funeral was held from the Centerfield meetinghouse Wednesday over the remains of James C. Beck, who died at the L. D. S. Hospital last Saturday from the effects of blood poisoning which ensued through an injury to one of his fingers inflicted only a short time ago. TfplativAu .nrl 1rirAa nam .- ... Ephraim, Levan, Redmond, and May-field. May-field. A large gathering of mourners showed their esteem on the occasion, J. P. Brienholt of Ephraim, where decedent was well known, and J. C. Nie'Bon of Levan were the speakers. Deceased was the eldest son of our storekeeper, James Beck, and was born September 8, 1876. He bought a farm in Gunnison field a few years ago and moved his family there. A wife and three children are left to mourn hia loss. Burial took place in the Centerfield cemetery. A boy baby was born on the 28th to the wife of Earl Deck, formerly of Fayette but now of this place. Niels L. Lund, formerly of Maj- hela and a member of the ward bishopric there, has bought a farm iu Centerfield and is now residing here Mrs. Mary A- Jenseu has spent a week at Salt Like City choosing an assortment of millinery goods which sbe has on display at her new place of buoiness in George Peterson's building. |
