Show WM. WESTWCOD PASSES AWAY Former Springville Resident Dies at His Home in Sale Lake. William Joseph Westwood. eon of J. W. Westwood, one of the few surviving vetrans of the civil war, died at his home in Salt Lake City Sunday evening, of pneumonia. Mr. Westwood was born in Springville and spent the early years of his life in Springville, removing re-moving recently to Magna where he hnd resided. He is survived by his father, his wile and five children, Mrs. Afton Decker, Alton, Melba. Donald and Joseph Westwood, all of Magna. Funeral services were held in the Springville Second ward chapel Tuesday afternoon April 1. A. W. Planner of the ward bishopric bish-opric was in charge. The invocation invoca-tion was offered by Charles Aileman and the benediction by George L. Hyde. The .speakers were itishop G. R. Maycock and Bishop Loren Harmer. Music was furished bv a mixed quartet consisting of Miss Clara Bringburs, Miss Yilnnh Golds-brnngh, Golds-brnngh, M. E. Craudall, Jr., and Ralph Snelson. Interment was in tbe Evergreen cemetery. The grave was dedicated by Bishop Joseph Storrs of Amcri-caen Amcri-caen Fork. |
