property of the Provo street railway was dragged to the depot today for shipment to Salt Lake YOUNG NIELSOil TO BE TRIED The first district court will open Monday morning at 10 oclock with Judge Blackburn Black-burn on the bench The first case to be tried is that against P S Neilson of Mount Pleascnt who charged with the murder of his father He is a young man of pleasing appearance and has a college education having spent several months studying in the east There is a considerable amount of sympathy sym-pathy expressed for the accused but the testimony against him in some respects points strongly to his guilt A young lady whose acquaintance Mr Neilsen formed while at college is in Provo and will be an interested spectator at the trial King and Houtz have charge of the defense de-fense SOCIETY I PROVO II The leading society event of the week was the marriage of Miss Etta Swarthout and Dr F F Heed which took place Wednesday evening at the home of Mr Swarthout in the Third ward Miss Swarthout now Mrs Reed is one of Provos fairest and most popular daughters daught-ers well known in society and literary circles Dr Reed has for more than three years been engaged in the dental business in our city and has achieved an enviable reputation It was 730 Wednesday evening when the guests began t assemble and the merry ripples of laughter and quiet conversation con-versation went on until 815 when Rev Norris of the Episcopal church in Salt Lake brought the bride and groom to the center of the parlor and pronounced the ceremonies The bride looked most charming in a rich gown of cream silk with delicate trimmings and settings and the doctor appeared in full dress Mis Paul of Salt Lake stood beside Miss Swarthout and Mr Thomas Green of Provo was at the right of Dr Reed Alter
