It is reported that Art Greco was the driver of the truck. Young Rigby, with five other boy companions were standing in the rear of the truck, not expecting the driver to make the turn at the point where it was made. They lost their balance bal-ance and as a result Charles fell, striking his head on the pavement. He was rendered unconsciois, suffering a fractured skull and possible internal injuries, causing hemorrages. He never nev-er regained consciousness. His parents, students of the mgn school and the public in both Mount Pleasant and Fairview are grief strick- en over the apparently untime'y death of the young man. The affair was purely accidental, the driver being entirely free from blame. The boys merely asked the privilege of riding home with him instead in-stead of waiting for the school bus.
